The planning process here is no less necessary than in created groups, but it is different. The essential structure of the group, its purposes and relationships, its power and communication system are already in place and the concept of artificiality is not usually present.

It is instructive to review briefly the areas that Haskell discusses: the presumptions of lawfulness, of wisdom, of tabula rasa, of democracy and finally of functionalism.
